I have noticed the topic of flipping websites
gaining steam and creating momentum over
the past few months.

Some give the book SITE FLIPPING GOLD the
credit for starting all the buzz.

I have listened in on several conference calls
with site flippers over the past couple of
months and there is no question that the
opportunity to make huge chunks of cash
exist with this business model.

Anyway, I have decided to start educating
myself more on this subject. I am going
on a road trip this weekend. So I have downloaded
Site Flipping Goldl and will be reading while my wife drives.

I will check back more on the subject later, but
for now I can say for sure that in my opinion this
is a business model you are going to be hearing
a lot more about throughout the remainder of this
year and beyond.

It is probably a topic worth paying attention to.

I can remember 15 years ago sitting in
a seminar. Dan Kennedy was one of
the guest speakers.

Dan said, in the old days we use to give
people them the Treasure Map and they
would follow it, and go dig the gold.

Then people decided they also wanted us
to supply the picks, shovels and get a personal
guided tour directly to the treasure.

Now days they want us to just go to the
the treasure, dig it, sell it, and then deposit the
profit in their bank account for them.

Remember this seminar was 15 years ago!

But from a marketing standpoint if you are selling
products and services online this is very valuable
information. I have been watching this trend for the
past 15 years since attending the seminar.

If you are selling products online it is much better
to sell a complete money making business in a
box instead of information teaching people how to
create the business.

You are seeing a trend of people selling complete
turn key, money making websites.

I have bought several websites and programs
over the past couple of years.

I bought the program and files for a website

Just the programming alone for this site would have
been very costly to set up.

I see so many people attempting to market online who seem
to have no real game plan or vision of what they were doing.

In this article I want to help you mentally back up and focus
on the basics of developing successful , profitable websites.
DESIGN YOU WEBSITE CORRECTLY

#1 Ask yourself, what do you want to accomplish with your
website. What is your MWR?

A website should not give visitors multiple choices. Remember the
concept to SALE 1 THING and sell it well. I wouldn’t even think a
about developing a website without reading The Amazing Formula that
Sells Products like Crazy.

After your site is developed you need to test your conversion rates.
In other words, for every 100 visitors how many complete your
Most Wanted Response?

If you goal is to collect data, how many out of a 100 leave their data?
If you goal is to make a sale, how many buy? It is all numbers, all
marketing depends upon the law of averages.

If you are not happy with your conversions, then tweak your website.
Test different headlines, bullet points, etc. The best information on
Testing I have found is here: TESTING.

Be realistic. Many beginning marketers expectations are way to high.
Direct mail marketers are normally looking for 1%-3% conversion rates.
In today’s online marketing world most experienced internet marketers
would be happy with 1% - 3% conversions.

Stay with me here.

You have a site, you have tweaked it, and it is converting well.

Now it comes down to simple math.

There is only 2 types of website traffic, paid and free.
I believe you should use as many Free traffic methods
as you possibly can. We cover several in our website

If you are going to buy website traffic, the question is
very simple:
How much can you afford to pay per visitor?

Let me give you an example.
Suppose you are selling a resale rights ebook for $27.00.
3 out of a 100 people who visit your site buy.
3 sales X $27.00 = $81.00

Now here is an important question. How much can you afford
to spend per visitor to your website to break even on the front
end? 81 cents per click, right?

So where are you in the above process right now?

With so much online marketing info out there you can
become confused very quickly. The truth is, you don’t
even need a website to make money on the Internet.

But, if you have a website, the above formula is the way
to maximize your profits with your website.
